A Random Road Trip
Once upon a time, the hubs and I wanted a reeeeaallllyy good steak. Chuck had some time off of work to celebrate our anniversary, and thus the idea was born to drive to Brigham City and stuff our faces at a little place called Maddox.
Seriously, you guys. If you haven't eaten there, pack up and go. Just go. After you finish reading this post, of course.
Since we were going to be mostly there anyway, we decided to spend the day in Logan just for old times sake. Sometimes we like to live on the edge. We invited our neighbor, Jake {who is, ahem, single. Ladies. Ahem. He's such a sweetheart. Really. But you need to be single, too. That's my only condition. :) } to come along. He joked that we only invited him so that he would watch Hannah for us in the backseat. That was the furthest thing from our minds, but he did a STELLAR job nonetheless.
Pretty sure for days afterward, Hannah was going through 'Jake-withdrawals' because he wasn't in the backseat with her. She luffs him.
Well, enough talking.
We hit up First Dam {which you may recognize from this post as where Chuck proposed to me} and had some fun looking at the duckies:
Yay for random road trips!
MmmMMMmmMMmm. . . homemade rolls/corn-pone and homemade raspberry butter! Kill me now :) |
