Progress!

Prepare yourselves for a picture overload. Things with the house have taken off and I'm having a hard time keeping up with photographing everything. . . that's a bit of a switcheroo, eh?! ;)

For those of you who aren't on Facebook much, we had a bit of a fiasco on Valentine's Day. Chuck had some 220 volt wiring added to the garage for future work with a welder and car lift (among other toys yet to be determined). Well, someone stole it all on V-Day. They must have taken a ladder with them because they snipped it all the way up to the ceiling. . . either that or there were at least a dozen of them and they created a human pyramid. I guess anything is possible, right?!

Fortunately, it wasn't considered our liability and so we won't have to pay to replace the wiring, but it's still really frustrating. It's hard not to feel violated when you see something like that happen to something you consider to be "your home". Ya know? There are also hand prints in the pre-stucco stuff they slathered on on Friday, and I have a hard time imagining the diligent construction workers sticking their fingers in what they just finished dutifully applying.

I have to tell myself that sitting on the home's porch all night with a baseball bat {which I don't even own in the first place} is only going to result in a very cold bum. . . . Otherwise, I might be tempted to do just that and see what kind of hooligans I could unearth sneaking around after dark.

But enough chatting -- let's get to the good stuff!

{This isn't the final stucco color; it just gives the stucco something to stick to. . . or so I hear}

  . . . . .

Basically, as long as we can keep people from carrying away our entire house piece by piece, we should be in good shape!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
